High Resolution Film
We offer high resolution film positives or negatives using a high resolution imagesetter and a Postscript Level 3 RIP (Raster Image Processor). Our film can be output either positive or negative, and emulsion up or down.
We image at 2400 dpi and can print halftones, screen tints, and color separations at any screen ruling up to 200 lines per inch. We run our imagesetter constantly so that you can be sure about the quality of our output. Fresh film and fresh chemistry is the key.
Preparing your files
When preparing files for film output you need to provide the original file, all fonts that are used in the file, and any linked photo or graphic. Use the "Collect for output" option to prepare files from InDesign, Quark, or your program.
Another way to send files is to prepare a pdf file that includes all of the fonts you are using and be sure to use the "High quality print" option when creating your pdf files.
